Staying at a local cottage in Manorbier, and The Castle Inn is just across the road. I decided to pop in for some drinks and was pleasantly surprised by a live mic night—it can get quite busy on those evenings! On other days, the atmosphere is more relaxed. I also ordered a pizza from Bakehouse, which was absolutely delicious. I’d like to give a special shout-out to Thomas, the bartender, who made me feel really welcome. I’m profoundly Deaf and use British Sign Language, and Thomas took the time to learn signs like "half pint", "full pint", and "thank you". He was genuinely keen to learn, which meant a lot. A big thank you—if I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely pop in!
The veggie burger and chips were first class. A gluten free bun was served with this on request. Excellent food and service, would definitely recommend.
Stayed at the RumShack for a couple of nights, when visiting friends in Manobier. Great welcome, fabulous food in The Castle Pub, adjoining accommodation. And really lovely members of staff . Comfy place to stay.
Burger was absolutely banging! Generous portion size and the chips were spot on too. Lovely cosy pub and nice vibe. Friendly staff as well! Lovely beer garden out back. Defo recommend :)
A great location for the castle and the beach, we stayed here as part of a 4 day trip around Pembrokeshire and before we went home the next day. The room is comfortable, little noisy latter part of night but to be expected as people enjoying themselves in the rear garden etc. - we would have joined them to be honest but had been hiking for about 8 hours! The pub is fantastic, great atmosphere, clearly loved by locals. The food was tasty, I had something I have never had before so it was cool to experience. The portions are sensational for the price I have to say! Kudos to the chef. I saw some reviews mentioning staff confusion with orders etc. - we had a small experience with that, my advice to the staff. all I will say is, be calm and not rush around so much. All will be fine! Overall really good and a nice vibe!

Brilliant 2 night stay at the castle inn! Would definitely return. Great location to beach, walks and the castle! Absolutely beautiful food in the pub, cannot fault the service and the staff, nothing was too much! I Recommend coming for food and drinks- great atmosphere! I recommend booking as it’s fully booked most nights. Thank you! We will be back
This is one of those little places that you find that you want to sing about and share with the world but then you also want to hide it so that the masses don't ruin it. I cannot rate this establishment, staff, food and accommodation highly enough. It is an absolute gem in a wonderful little country village. You will not be disappointed and the food is just amazing! I will be back.
